If only I could be paid for every time someone broke out into the commercial jingle when they find out I eat chia seeds.
Chia seeds have become a popular superfood, especially in the past few years.
Last year, I realized many people have not heard of chia.
I lived with 8 girls and was attending school. Every morning, I would make my Bowl of Deliciousness topped with chia seeds. After a few months, the janitor turned to me and said why do you put cracked pepper on your granola every morning?
Well, that explains the odd looks!
And it’s a craze :)
Lived with 8 girls who have never heard of chia seeds…
1 month later
7 girls in our apartment were eating chia seeds…
There are many more apartments at school, so you can only imagine
Next thing you know, the local health foods store increased the price 300%
Regardless, chia seeds is a natural and delicious way to add fiber to your diet.
There are countless ways to add them to your daily menu.
