Chocolate.

It always starts with chocolate.

Oh, and an idea.

Like Pecan Pineapple Larabars, this idea came from a Shabbos table, a Shavuos meal to be exact.

Dark Chocolate.

Toasted Slivered Almonds.

Dried Blueberries.

Coarse Salt.

4 ingredients – Powerful flavor.

wish I could tell you that I did not devour nearly the entire pan…

but

My parents always taught me not to lie.

but

my parents did taste this, therefore helping me devour it ;)

Sweet & Salty Blueberry Toasted Almond Dark Chocolate Bark

Ingredients: 

1 package dark or semi-sweet chocolate chips

1/3 c. dried blueberries

1/3 c. toasted slivered almonds

sprinkle of coarse salt

“To Do”

One of the hardest parts of this recipe is not nibbling on the ingredients as you put the bark together.

Melt the chocolate

Since the star of this recipe is chocolate…close up please?

Mix together the dried blueberries and toasted slivered almonds

Add into the melted chocolate

Pour chocolate mixture onto a pan lined with parchment paper and spread

Sprinkle with salt and cover in parchment paper and use a rolling pin to thin/smooth

Put into freezer for at least 10 minutes

*meaning: refuse temptation for now

Unwrap parchment paper and crack into pieces

Crack & Stack?

Devour

Give as a homemade gift, enjoy as a snack, treat your family…all good excuses!
