ImageSolution: Easy and delicious (!!!) Smoothie

If the bags of cranberries taking up space in your freezer and the beautiful photo above is not convincing enough…here’s more reasons why you should try this:

  1. Only 3 ingredients, unless you count the optional ice cubes…that makes 4
  2. It’s vegan, can easily be organic, natural, and no sugar is added (sugar comes from fruit)
  3. Very nutrient dense
  4. 9.5 grams of fiber – keeps you full!

All-Natural Cranberry Banana Smoothie

1.5 Very ripe banana cut in large pieces and frozen (the more ripe, the sweeter!!!)
1 C frozen cranberries
1/2 C unsweetened vanilla almond milk (or other milks). I use Blue Diamond Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk (only 20 cal for 1/2cup)
2+ Ice cubes

First put milk and frozen banana into blender – blend into a thick mixture. Pop your cranberries in the microwave for 30 seconds to soften. Add the cranberries into the banana/milk mixture. Process until smooth. Add 2 (or more) ice cubes for texture. Sweeten if desired. I like my smoothies tangy!

My personal recipe & photo. This smoothie sure is better than the ones you can buy. The cranberries create a tartness that is usually created with high-calorie, processed sorbet.

ENJOY :)
